Adverse Weather Arrangements

The typhoon and rainstorm season has descended on Hong Kong. It is time to remind how it will affect students attending lecture sessions: -

a)  No session will be taking place when signal No.8 is hoisted.

b)   Should typhoon signal No.8 is lowered or cancelled within 4 hours before the commencement of a class or examination, no class or examination will be conducted for the day.

c)  In the unlikely event that the typhoon signal No.8 hoisted during the lecture session, such session will deem to be taken place.

d)  If the Black Rainstorm Warning is in force two hours before the commencement of the lecture session, there will be no such session taking place on the day.
